LANCY BOYD DAVIS, II died April 16, 2012 near Milford, KS at the age of 39. He was born on June 26, 1972 in Covington, LA the son of Lancy Davis and Vivian Hopkins. Lancy was raised and attended school in Tallishiek, LA. He served in the US Navy for two years, stationed in Japan and aboard the USS Midway and USS Eisenhower. Lancy worked as a surveyor for Ned Wilson in Mandeville, LA, for Randall Brown, BFM and MPH, all of Louisiana. He was working as a surveyor for Kaw Valley Engineering in Junction City. Lancy married Ruby Meche on June 26, 1996, she survives of the home. Survivors include: Wife: Ruby Davis, Palmer, KS Son: Lance Davis, Palmer, KS Son: Landon Davis, Palmer, KS Step-Son: Lyle and wife Holly Berard, Monticello, MS Step-Son: Logan Berard, Monticello, MS Sister: Teresa and husband Richard Breland, Picayune, MS Sister: Susan and husband Charlie Trapina, New Orleans, LA Sister: Lynn and husband Jagada Chifici, Bay St. Louis, MS Grandchildren: 2 Grandchildren, Madyson and Taylor Berard Mother and step-father: Vivian and Leonard Herrs, Palmer, KS Step-Mother: Gail Davis, Washington, KS Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Matthew Coleman. Burial will be at the Holmes Cemetery, Tallishiek, LA. Visitation will be held on 3-8 PM Friday at the funeral home Memorials can be made to Lancy B Davis children's education fund c/o the funeral home
