LARRY BRUCE ALEXANDER, 61, died May 25, 2014 at Wakefield, Kansas. He was born on April 30, 1953 in Washington, Kansas. The son of LeRoy and Nola (Kohlmeier) Alexander.
Larry graduated from Linn High School and Manhattan VoTech. He moved to Clay Center in 1973. Larry ran the locker plant and was a cook at the Elks Club and the Clay Center Sale Barn. He also was a rancher and worked at Military Marina on Milford Lake. Larry was a member of the Clay Center Elks Club and a past member of the Kansas Walleye Association. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Karen.

Daughter: Laura Alexander, Manhattan, Kansas
Grandchildren: 3 grandchildren and one great grandchild
Sister: Beverly and husband Chuck Dieckmann, Linn, Kansas
Sister: Trudy and husband, Ronnie Tiemeyer, Palmer, Kansas
Companion: Martha Dutton, Clay Center, Kansas

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 10AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center, Kansas.
Officiating the service will be Pastor Paul Tessaro.
Burial will be in the Zion Cemetery, Linn, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 3-8PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Terry Johnson Center for Basic Cancer Research.
