Larry Reed

Larry E. Reed 82 died Tuesday, June 28, 2022. He was born on January 3, 1940, in Clay Center, the son of Cleve “Buck” and Bertha (Hinshaw) Reed. Larry was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He was married to Rosemary "Rosie" Bergstrom on December 15, 1962. Larry worked for the Clay Center Police Department, Clay Center Public Utilities and was also a volunteer firefighter. He was a member of Clay Center American Legion, Clay Center Elks and Clay Center Eagles. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Rosie; parents; brother, Harry Reed; sister, Bonnie McChesney. Survivors include, Stepmother: Arlene Reed Brother: Don Reed and wife Twila Nieces: Pam Carlson and Christine (Gary) Matteson Nephews: Kevin (Pam) Reed and Kelley (Tanya) Reed.
