Laura Iverson Rundle

Laura Elizabeth Iverson Rundle went to meet the Lord on Tuesday January 1, 2013. She was born October 8, 1918 to Howard “Fred” and Caroline (Hohr) Lyon; the oldest of 7 children. On May 29, 1937 she married Emery Iverson and the enjoyed nearly 51 years of marriage together. They had four children, Eugene, Larry, James and Linda. Laura was preceded in death by her parents, sisters; Doris Blackburn, Estella Cyphers and Freda Jordan, brother Raymond Lyon, Husband Emery Iverson, second husband of 11 years, Fred Rundle, granddaughter Carlene Smith, son James Iverson and a daughter in law Joyce Iverson. Laura was a homemaker, loving mother and a bookkeeper for her husband's insurance business. She enjoyed playing cards, board games, reading, being involved in her church, painting pictures and listening to 40's and 50's music. Survivors include: Daughter: Linda and husband Mike Kantack, Clifton, KS Son: Eugene Iverson, Clifton, KS Son: Larry Iverson, Overland Park, KS Brother: Donald and wife Betty Lyon, Topeka, KS Brother: Howard and wife Linda Lyon, Clifton, KS 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Faith United Church Presbyterian in Clifton, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor FrankLyn Schroeder. Burial will be at the Clifton IOOF Cemetery, Clifton, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 5-7 PM Friday at Faith United Church Presbyterian Memorials can be made to Community Care Inc or the church
