Lavera Elisa Wilhelmina Olson

LAVERA ELISA WILHELMINA, 82 died July 14, 2008 at the Linn Community Nursing Home, Linn, KS. She was born on August 30, 1925 in Palmer, Kansas the daughter of Henry E. and Emilie (Jording) Ohlde. LaVera was raised in the Palmer KS area and attended St John Lutheran School. She married Kenneth Olson on July 21, 1946, he survives of the home. She worked for J.M. McDonald, Bank of Palmer, as a home health provider in Linn and at various businesses in the community. She was a life long member of St John Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She was a charter member of Tabitha Society and L.W.M.L. She is preceded in death by a foster daughter Alice Hinrichs. Survivors: Husband: Kenneth Olson, Linn, KS Daughter: Kathleen and husband Ronald Bott, Palmer, KS Son: Morris and wife Jean Olson, Linn, KS Son: Philip and wife Linda Olson, Clifton, KS Brother: Raymond Ohlde, Linn, KS Sister: Lorna Heitman, Palmer, KS Grandchildren: 8 Grandchildren and 12 Great-grandchildren Foster Son: Norman Hinrichs, Bloomington, IL Funeral Services: Friday,July 18, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church in Palmer, Kansas.
