Leah Simpson

LEAH LORENE SIMPSON died March 10, 2010 at Salina Regional Health Center , Salina, KS at the age of 88. She was born on March 12, 1921 in Cloud County, Kansas the daughter of Enoch, Jr. and Matilda (Rothfuss) Beals. Leah married Ralph Simpson on September 24, 1940. The made their home and farmed in Cloud Co near Miltonvale. Leah was a member of the Miltonvale Wesleyan Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, 1 brother, 4 sisters and a son in law. Survivors include: Son: Duane and wife Judy Simpson, Osage City, KS Daughter: Berneice Rice, Salina, KS Brother: Stanley and wife Betty Beals, Ochelata, OK Sister: Jackie and husband Benny Mandrell, Glendale, AZ Sister-In-Law: Nina Beals, Clay Center, KS Brother-In-Law: Jay Kramer, Longford, KS Grandchildren: 4 Grand and 7 Great-grand Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Phelps Funeral Home in Miltonvale, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Clyde Johnson. Burial will be at the Miltonvale Cemetery, Miltonvale, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 2-5 PM Sunday at Phelps Funeral Home Memorials can be made to F.C. Hill Memorial Church (Wesleyan Church) in Miltonvale
