Leanna Smith

LEANNA K. SMITH, 86 died November 20, 2015 at Kindred Hospital-Kansas City in Kansas City, MO. She was born on June 13, 1929 in Hutchinson, KS, the daughter of Jake and Leota (Thomas) Unruh. Leanna married Lawrence Smith on September 30, 1945 in Kansas City. They made their home in Miltonvale, KS. Lawrence preceded her in death on June 30, 1996. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Smith, grandson, Steven Geering, her parents and two brothers, Victor and Leslie Unruh. Survivors: Daughter: Linda Cotton, TN Sister: Melva (Larry) Cummings, Kansas City , MO Sister: Phebe Hodgson, Sterling, KS 2 Grandsons, Brian Geering and Gregory Smith Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 1:30 PM at the Miltonvale Cemetery in Miltonvale, KS Visitation will not be held prior to the service Memorials: American Cancer Society
