Lena Smith

Lena M Smith, 101 died April 9, 2019 in Overland Park, KS. She was born on December 14, 1917 in Como, Kansas. The daughter of Paul and Amanda (Girard) Patenaude. Lena was raised in the Como community and attended Como School. She married C. Harry Smith on September 5, 1939. They farmed west of Longford, KS for six years before moving to Miltonvale. After Harry retired, they made their home in Clay Center. Harry preceded her in death on June 4, 1996. Lena later moved to Leawood, KS to live near her sons, Harry L. and Randy. Lena was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and later, SS Peter And Paul Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Smith; brothers, William and Albert Patenaude and sister, Stella Smith.

Funeral Services: Friday, April 12, 2019 at 11:00AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Miltonvale, KS
