Lenora Sweet

LENORA M SWEET, 74 died November 13, 2013 at Clay County Medical Center in Clay Center, KS. She was born on November 19, 1938 in Stockdale, KS. The daughter of Charles and Miona (Harrison) Young. Lenora was raised in Randolph, KS and moved to Clay Center in 1950. She ran a poultry processing business for many years. She married Frank Sweet on March 5, 1983 and he survives. She attended the Clay Center Evangelical Covenant Church. Lenora and Frank sold antiques and collectibles. Lenora was preceded in death by a son, Donald, her parents and 2 brothers. Survivors: Son: Daton and wife, Liana Hess, Clay Center, KS Grandchildren: Melissa and husband, Ryan Juhnke, Topeka, KS Kimberly and husband, Jamison Bosch, Sioux City, IA Great Grandson: Maxwell Juhnke, Topeka, KS Sister: Fay Ellis, Clay Center, KS Sister: Rose Dettmer, Clay Center, KS Brother: Herman Young, Clay Center, KS Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 10:30AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home in Clay Center, KS Officiating the service will be Pastor Grant Clay Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2013 from will be held from 2-5PM Sunday at the funeral home Memorials: may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
