LEON ERNEST MOTTIN, 87, Clay Center, Kansas died April 2, 2007 at Medicalodge in Clay Center, KS He was born November 22, 1919 in rural Clyde,Kansas the son of Ernest and Clarice (King) Mottin. Loen married Charlotte Beestey on June 11, 1941. He served in the US Navy during WWII. Leon worked as a machinist for the Stewart Warner Company in Kansas City, Missouri. He also worked a mechanic in Topeka and Manhattan and owned Leon's Auto Repair in Clay Center. Leon was a member of the Journeyman's Union in Kansas City. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister. Survivors: Wife: Charlotte Mottin, Clay Center, KS Son: James and his wife, Betty Mottin, Guelph, Ontario, Canada Sister: Leone Porach, Seldon, KS Grandchildren: 2 Granddaughters, Rebecca and Rachel Memorial Service: Will be held at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS. Memorials: Medicalodge of Clay Center in care of the funeral home.
