LILLIAN MAE CRAWFORD died January 9, 2008 at Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS at the age of 74. LILLIAN MAE CRAWFORD was born on August 28, 1933 in Owassa, Oklahoma the daughter of Willard Brown and Louetta Griffin. Lillian was raised in Oklahoma and moved to Clay Center in 1971. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Vernon Stutz in 1977. She married Leeland Crawford on March 3, 1978. She worked at Wardcraft Homes for 16 1/2 years. Lillian was also preceded in death by one son, Vernon Stutz, Jr. in 1991 and a sister. Survivors include: Husband: Leeland Crawford, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Francie and husband Roger Young, Clay Center, KS Step-Son: Robert and wife Cheryl Crawford, Clyde, KS Step-Son: Randy Crawford, Marion, KS Step-Daughter: Jan and husband Rob Craft, Marion, KS Sister: Ann Ingram, Claeveland, OK Sister: LaVern Haus, Tahlequah, OK Sister: Joann Pinkstaff, Tulsa, OK Brother: Johnny Chick, Tahlequah, OK Grandchildren: 8 grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 11:00a.m. at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Mike Paschall. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 3-8 pm Friday, January 11, 2008 at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to may be made to the Terry C. Johnson Center for Basic Cancer Research in care of the funeral home.
