Lloyd Nichols

LLOYD NICHOLS, 97 died February 1, 2014 at Holiday Resort of Salina in Salina, KS. He was born on March 12, 1916 in Osage County, KS. The son of Morton and Mabel (Michaels) Nichols. Lloyd attended school in the Manchester community. He married Edna Bach on May 31, 1939. They made their home and farmed in the Longford Community. Lloyd also worked as a custom harvester for 40 years and helped the Civilian Conservation Corps construct Clinton Lake. He was a member of the Longford United Methodist Church and a charter member of the Longford Rodeo Club. He is preceded in death by wife, Edna, son, Leo, 3 brothers, Clayton, James and Cloyce, sister, Beulah Turner and a grandson.
