Lois Langvardt

LOIS MARIE LANGVARDT, 90 died May 22, 2014 at Medicalodge in Clay Center, KS. She was born on July 19, 1923 in Wakefield, KS. The daughter of William and Annie (Sparrowhawk) Mason. Lois married Harold Langvardt on October 8, 1943 and he preceded her on May 30, 2007. She was a teacher, farmed with her husband, worked for Montgomery Wards, Apollo Towers and was a cook for USD 379. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Clay Center. She was also preceded by a son Denny, a daughter Sharon, one brother and one sister. Survivors: Son: Greg and wife Dawn Langvardt, Clay Center, KS Son: Daryl Langvardt, Clay Center, KS Daughter in Law: Karen Langvardt, Clay Center, KS Grandchildren: 5 Grandsons and 9 Great Grandchildren Sister: Vera Mason O'Rand, Manhattan, KS Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church in Clay Center, KS Officiating the service will be Pastor Tim Hurst Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS Visitation will be held on Monday, May 26, 2014 from 2-5 pm at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home Memorials: First Presbyterian Church, Meadowlark Hospice or the American Cancer Society c/o funeral home.
