N. LORINE HOTCHKISS died April 24, 2009 at Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community, Buhler, KS at the age of 93. She was born on July 31, 1915 in Clay County Kansas, the son of Guy Trudell and Susan Woodhams. Lorine grew up in Clay County and attended West Exeter country school. She graduated from Miltonvale Wesleyan High School and attended Kansas State University and Ottawa University. She taught at country schools for 5 years. She married Harold Hotchkiss on June 2, 1937. She later graduated from Miltonvale Junior College. She was a pastor's wife for 48 years. Harold preceded her in death on February 7, 2008. She was a member of the Wesleyan Church, Garden Club and the Kitchen Band at Apollo Towers, all of Clay Center. She is also preceded by a sister, Theresa. Survivors include: Daughter: Jeanette and husband Eugene Krenzin, Hutchinson, KS 2 Grandchildren and 2 Great-grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Wesleyan Church in Clay Center, Kansas . Officiating the service will be Dr David Nixon, Rev. Rob Stewart and Jeremy Krenzin. Burial will be at the Miltonvale Cemetery, Miltonvale, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 5:30 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home Memorials can be made to Oklahoma Wesleyan College of Bartlesville or Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community c/o the funeral home
