Lowell Crawford

LOWELL CRAWFORD died February 6, 2013 at 710 Sherman, Clay Center, KS at the age of 72. Lowell was born on December 27, 1940 in Clay Center Kansas, the son of George and Lottie Mae (Bergman) Crawford. Lowell was raised in Clay Center. After serving in the US Navy he worked in Chanute, Ks. for Cablevision. He married Lois Boyer in 1960 and they later divorced. He moved back to Clay Center in 1970 and worked for Hutchinson Manufacturing and owned and operated a roofing business. He married Ruth Williams in 1977 and they later divorced. He is preceded by his parents, 1 great-granddaughter, 3 brothers and one sister. Survivors include: Daughter: Jackie and husband Kenny Ouelette, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Jeannie Bulk, Clay Center, KS Son: Jarrod Crawford, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Judy Disney, Wichita, KS Sister: Lois Lee, Rio Linda, CA Brother: Loun Crawford, Clay Center, KS Brother: Lawrence Crawford, Clay Center, KS Brother: Lyman Mickey Crawford, Clay Center, KS 13 Grandchildren and 12 Great-grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. James Byers. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery at Clay Center, Kansas. There will be no visitaion. Memorials can be made to Meadowlark Hospice c/o the funeral home.
