Lyle Lange

Lyle was raised in the Palmer community and graduated from Linn High School. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Lyle married Vernus Wurtz on August 29, 1954. They farmed in the Clifton community and Lyle drove a school bus for the Clifton-Clyde School District for over 15 years. Vernus preceded him in death on February 6, 1990. Lyle was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Washington County Fair Board, and the Clifton American Legion.
