LYLE E. SPROUL died May 25, 2010 at Medicalodge, Clay Center, KS at the age of 97. He
was born on February 10, 1913 in Baileyville, KS the son of Jesse Sproul and Anna Botts. Lyle
graduated from Soldier High School in 1931. He married Eunice Marie Johnson on August 10,
1933. Lyle was employed by W.W. Smith and Sons in Clay Center, retiring in 1978 as sales
manager for the John Deere farm equipment business. Eunice preceded him in death on May
30, 2005. Lyle was a member of the United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge #134, Leisure
Center and Piotique Sams camping club all of Clay Center. He was also a member of the ISIS
Shrine and received his 70 pin in 2007. Lyle is also preceded by his parents, a sister, Mildred
Kling and a grandson, Aaron Sproul.

Son: Merrill and wife Carrie Sproul, Big Flats, NY
Grandchildren: 4 Grandchildren and 6 step-Grandchildren and 10 step-Great-grandchildren
Graveside Services will be held on , May 28, 2010 at at the Soldier Cemetery in Soldier, Kansas.

Burial will be at the Soldier Cemetery, Soldier, KS.
There will be no visitation
