Margaret Winslow

Margaret Mae Winslow, 78, of Clay Center, died Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Clay County Medical Center.  She was born on March 17, 1940, the daughter of Russell and Helen (Minger) Roberts.Margaret grew up in Marysville. She married William Winslow on November 4, 1956. They made their home in Germany and the United States before moving to Clay Center in 1977. Margaret was a member of the Clay Center Christian Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, travelling and working outside. She is preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister. Survivors: Husband: William Winslow, Clay Center, KS Son: Gary Winslow, Sr, Alma, Kansas Daughter: Pam Murphy, Omaha, Nebraska Daughter: Kimberly Haproff and husband, Peter Guevara, Morganville, Kansas Son: Gary Winslow, Jr, Clay Center, Kansas 13 grandchildren 12 great grandchildren Daughter in Law: Jennifer Wright, Clay Center, Kansas Brother: Gerald Roberts, Ada, Kansas Funeral Services: Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 11:00AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home in Clay Center, Kansas Minister:  Pastor Paul Tessaro Burial: will be Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 1:00PM in the Kansas Veteran’s Cemetery at Fort Riley, Manhattan, Kansas Visitation: There will be no visitation. Memorials: Children's Mercy Hospital or the Epilepsy Foundation and can be sent c/o the funeral home.
