Marguerite Harris

MARGUERITE ELLEN HARRIS died July 5, 2009 at 1575 Granite Rd., Clay Center, KS at the age of 80. She was born on February 19, 1929 in New York, New York to Norwegian immigrants. She was placed on the Orphan Train at 9 months of age and was adopted by Edward and Emma (Kuchera) Kasper. She attended Clay County schools and graduated from Clay County Community High School. She worked for Dr. Duane Kolterman after high school. She married Algie L. Doc Harris on May 12, 1955 and he preceded her on August 3, 2004. She traveled with her husband during his construction career and they returned to Clay Center in 1961. Survivors include: Son: Roy Harris, Clay Center, KS No services are planned Friends may sign her book on Tuesday, July 7th from 3:00 to 5:00pm at the funeral home.
