NORA MARGUERITE KIEFFER died May 2, 2008 at Presbyterian Manor, Clay Center, KS at the age of 93. She was born on October 31, 1914 in Palmer, Kansas the daughter of Clarence Thompson and Lavina Potter. She was raised in Palmer and graduated from Clay Center Community High School. She married Anthony Kieffer on November 27, 1940. She owned and operated a restaurant in Palmer. Anthony preceded her in death on December 15, 1995. She was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church, Altar Society and A to Z Card Club. Survivors include: Son: Bruce and wife Betty Kieffer, Cawker City, KS Son: Douglas and wife Eleanor Kieffer, Clifton, KS Son: Mark and wife Beth Kieffer, Wichita, KS Son: Lyle and wife Glenda Kieffer, Minneapolis, KS Son: Gregory and wife Debi Kieffer, El Dorado, KS Daughter: Dorothy Lee, Yuma, AZ Sister: Bernita Reinert, Washington, KS Sister: Ruth Debauche, Wichita, KS Brother: Clarence Thompson, Abilene, KS Grandchildren: 15 Grand & 27 Great-grand Funeral Services will be held on Monday, May 5, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the St. Marys Catholic Church in Clifton, Kansas. Officiating the service will be The Rev. Larry Letourneau. Burial will be at the St. Marys Cemetery, Clifton, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 2-5 Sunday at Turner Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 5 PM Memorials can be made to Clifton Ambulance Service c/o the funeral home
