MARIAN "FREDDIE" CREE, 84,died Saturday, February 10, 2007 at the Presbyterian Manor in Clay Center, KS. She was born November 4, 1922 in Clay Center, KS the daughter of Roy and Bess (Auchard) Mackender. She was raised in Clay Center and graduated from Clay County Community High School in 1940. She married Morton Cree on November 11, 1942. She worked as a secretary at Hutchinson Manufacturing in Clay Center for 25 years. She later worked part time in the Lincoln School Library. She was active in her bridge club and the Little St. Andrews golf tournament at the Clay Center Country Club. Mort preceded her in death on June 22, 1973. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Clay Center. She is also preceded by a daughter, Susan and a brother, Pete. Survivors: Grandson: Kevin and wife Connie Carlson, Kansas City, MO Granddaughter: Heather and husband Jim Miller, Cady, TX Son-in-Law: Harley Carlson, Houston, TX Grandchildren: 6 Great-grand Funeral Services: Wednesday,February 14, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Minister: Pastor Jim Miller & Pastor Glenn Tombaugh Burial: Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation:3-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home Memorials: Lincoln School Library c/o the funeral home
