Marie Cain

Marie was born February 7, 1917 in Clay County to John and Alma (Damkroger) Burger. Marie graduated from CCCHS in 1936. She married John Cain on September 26, 1940 and he preceded her in death on July 2, 1993. She traveled extensively throughout the United States with John, as he worked in several aircraft industries. Marie was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She was a strong Christian who generously volunteered her time and loved her family. Marie also enjoyed gardening and was a wonderful cook.
She is also preceded in death by her parents; daughter and son in law, Joan (Frank) Steenbock, great-granddaughter, Klarissa Keesling, brothers Raymond, Robert and Alfred Burger.

Grandchildren: John Steenbock, Allen Steenbock, and Therese Keesling-Bogle

Funeral Services: Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 10:30AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center, KS
Minister: Pastor Paul Tessaro
Burial: Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas
Visitation: will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 9:30AM until service time at St. Paul Lutheran Church
