Marinda Stoddard

MARINDA STODDARD died February 14, 2011 at Golden Livingcenter, Wakefield, KS at the age of 100. She was born on May 27, 1910 in Wakefield Kansas, the daughter of Eugene Stoddard and Clara Male. Grew up in the Wakefield Community and graduated from Wakefield High School in 1933. She worked as a caregiver in Riley and Wakefield. She lived her entire life in Wakefield. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Wakefield and volunteered a the the Wakefield Nursing Home. She was preceded by a brother, H.W. “Skinner” Stoddard and a sister Mary Bohnert. Survivors include: Nephew: 3 Nephews Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 10:30AM at the United Methodist Church in Wakefield, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Diana Stewart. Burial will be at the Timber Creek Cemetery, Clay County, Kansas.
