MARJORIE RUTH ALLEN died May 6, 2009 at Clay County Medical Center, Clay Center, KS at the age of 91. MARJORIE RUTH ALLEN was born on May 25, 1917 in Washington County, Kansas the daughter of Percy Marshall and Bertha Morris. She was raised in Washington County. She taught school after graduating from high school. Marjorie married Gerald Allen on March 28, 1937. She worked at the Clifton Post Office for 25 years, serving as Postmaster. Gerald preceded her in death on July 20, 1998. She was a member of Faith United Church Presbyterian. Survivors include: Brother: Derrell Marshall, Clifton, KS Many nieces and nephews Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 10:30 AM at the Faith United Church Presbyterian in Clifton KS. Officiating the service will be Pastor FrankLyn Schroeder. Burial will be at the Clifton IOOF Cemetery, Clifton, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 5-7 PM, Friday at Turner Funeral Home in Clifton.
