Marjorie Gerriets

MARJORIE GERRIETS died February 3, 2007 at her daughters residence in Wichita, KS at the age of 77. MARJORIE GERRIETS was born on October 31, 1929 in Marion, Indiana the daughter of Ben and Ada (Sandberg) Wangeman. She graduated from CCCHS. She married Ted Gerriets on March 27, 1950 and he preceded her on June 9, 2005. She worked as a legal secretary and a nurses aide at the Clay Center Presbyterian Manor. They farmed north of Clay Center. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and was a Sunday School Teacher. She is also preceded by a son, John and 2 brothers. Survivors include: Daughter: Mary and husband Larry Wilkinson, Wichita, KS Son: Mark and wife Mary Ann Gerriets, Climax Springs, MO Son: Douglas Gerriets, Eskridge, KS Grandchildren: 5 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Paul Tessaro. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 11 from 2-5pm at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Harry Hynes Hospice, the St. Paul Lutheran Church or the Central Christian Church of Wichita c/o funeral home.
