Marjory Walker

MARJORY E. WALKER died August 6, 2009 at Park Villa Nursing Home, Clyde, KS at the age of 89. She was born on July 29, 1920 in Miltonvale, Kansas the daughter of George and Roxy (Kunkle) Walker. She was raised in Miltonvale and graduated from Miltonvale High School. She graduated from Hayes College and taught for several years in Great Bend. Marjory returned to Miltonvale after retiring, moved to Leavenworth and moved back to Miltonvale in 2000. She has made her home in Clyde since 2001. She was a member of the Miltonvale United Methodist Church, Retired Teachers Assn. and American Legion Auxiliary in Miltonvale. She is preceded in death by her brother and sister in law, Kenneth and Ethel Walker and a niece, Mae Walker-Cominsky. Survivors include: Nieces, nephews and friends Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 10, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Phelps Funeral Home in Miltonvale, KS. Officiating the service will be Robert Winters. Burial will be at the Miltonvale Cemetery, Miltonvale, Kansas.
