Marvin Macy

Marvin Sidney Macy, age 81, died January 28, 2021 in Kansas City, KS. He was born October 20, 1939 in rural Longford to Edgar and Vinita (Malcolm) Macy.  Marvin graduated from Longford High School. After graduation he attended Miltonvale Wesleyan College earning a BA in Theology. During his time in college, he was enlisted in the National Guard, and worked at Gilmore-Tatge.  He married Janet Beckwith on July 8, 1967. Marvin farmed in the Longford Community and was a member of the Clay Center Wesleyan Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Terry Lee and brother, Norman Macy.

Brother: Ted and wife Vicky Macy of Salina, KS

Sister-in-law: Wanda Macy of  Derby, KS

Grandson: Eli Perham
