MARY ANN THURLOW died March 5, 2008 at Golden Livingcenter, Wakefield, KS at the age of 85. She was born on June 1, 1922 in Wakefield, Kansas the daughter of Clarence Carpenter and Alice Carlstrom. Mary Ann attended Madura country school and graduated from Wakefield High School. She married Russell Thurlow on May 25, 1940. They made their home and farmed south of Wakefield. Russell preceded her in death on January 20, 1986. She was a member of Madura Congregational Church where she was the pianist, Women's Fellowship, Pricilla Club and member and volunteer at the Wakefield Museum. She is also preceded by her daughter, Andrea Junghans on November 3, 2003.

Grandchildren: 5 Great-Grandchildren
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 10:30 AM at the Madura Congregational Church in Wakefield, Kansas.
Officiating the service will be Rev. Todd Britt.
Burial will be at the Madura Cemetery, Clay County, Kansas.
Visitation will be held on 6-8 PM Friday at the Wakefield Funeral Home
