Mary Collette

Mary Collette, 97 died June 26, 2018 in Salina, KS. She was born on December 1, 1920 in Linton, Indiana, the daughter of Elmer and Edith Tannehill. Mary was raised in Linton, IN. She married Lawrence ”Pete” Collete on December 1, 1943. They made their home in Abilene, TX and Linton, IN. When Pete returned from WWII, they moved to Clifton, KS where she lived for 72 years. Mary worked as a meat wrapper at Lohmuller Locker and later did washing, ironing and house cleaning. Pete preceded her in death on August 27, 1996. Mary was a member of the Christian Church in Clifton.
