MARY F. DUDNEY died September 16, 2012 at Medicalodge, Clay Center, KS at the age of 87. MARY F. DUDNEY was born on January 28, 1925 in Arcadia, KS the daughter of Nicodemus Davenport and Elda Clark. Mary worked at the T-Bird Inn in Chapman, Lakeview Restaurant in Wakefield, Sunflower Cafe in Clay Center and for nursing homes in the Clay Center area retiring in 1985. Mary is preceded by 4 sisters, Emma Leist, Florence Wheeler, Marie Lawrence and Dorothy Garrett, 5 brothers, Arthur, Robert, Joseph, Albert and George Davenport. Survivors include: Son: Nick and wife Tammy Thompson, Clay Center, KS Son: Jack Thompson, Victoria, TX Sister: Bertha Hickox, Colorado Springs, CO Granddaughter: Melissa and husband Trentin Wille, Des Moines, IA Grandson: Matt and wife Hilary Thompson, Clay Center, KS Grandson: Brian and wife Lelyla Thompson, Houston, TX Grandson: Timmy Thompson, Houston, TX Grandchildren: 9 Great Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 1:30PM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Scott Campbell. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 19 from 12:30 until service time at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Mary Dudney memorial fund to be designated later by the family.
