Mary Lee Alexander was born to T.L. and Dorothy (Brooks) Barr in Manhattan, KS. She grew up in the Zendale Township in Riley County, KS. Mary attended Deep Creek grade school and graduated from Manhattan High School. She graduated from Kansas State University and Kansas University school of nursing, where she received her nursing degree. Mary married Russell Alexander on September 01, 1956. She worked as an RN in Manhattan and Clay Center and helped on the farm.

Services: Private family services will take place
Visitation: Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 4-7pm at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home
