Mary Lou Rettig

MARY LOU RETTIG, 76 died January 27, 2015 in Clay Center, KS. She was born on February 18, 1938 in Wilson County, KS. The daughter of Ernest and Elva (Kinsey) Croan. Mary Lou was raised in Wilson Co., KS and graduated from Fredonia High School in 1956. She attended beauty school in Topeka. Mary Lou married Norman Rettig on June 21, 1959. They moved to Clay Center in the early 1960's. She worked at New Impressions, Primp Shop and several other salons in Clay Center. Mary Lou also helped her husband operate Rettig Oil. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Pilot Club. Mary Lou was preceded in death by parents and a sister, Lula Croan. Survivors: Husband: Norm Rettig, Clay Center, KS Many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center, KS Officiating the service will be Pastor Paul Tessaro Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, KS Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 3-8PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home.
