Max G. “Mike” Snyder, JR died August 17, 2009 at 719 Sherman, Clay Center, KS at the
age of 58. Mike was born on August 6, 1951 in Clay Center Kansas, the son of Max Snyder, Sr
and Mildred Mapes.
He was raised in Clay Center, Kansas and graduated from Clay Center Community High
School in 1970. He married Margaret Brownfield on October 15, 1994 and she survives of the
home. He worked for the Clay Center Public Utilities retiring in 1995. He was an avid fisherman,
wood worker and HAM radio operator and also raised registered Dachshunds. He was a member
of the Clay Center HAM Radio Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Tom
Snyder.

Step-Daughter: Barbara and husband Jeff Brown, Topeka, KS
Brother: Bill Snyder, Clay Center, KS
Brother: Kelly and wife Barb Snyder, Clay Center, KS
Sister: Bonnie Jean Trumpp, Douglass, KS
Step-Mother: Deborah Snyder, Clay Center, KS
4 step-grand and 3 step-great-grandchildren
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 1:30 PM at the
Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas.
Officiating the service will be Pastor Doug Wallace.
