Maxine Geist

MAXINE B. GEIST, died May 9, 2015 in Clyde, KS. She was born on December 8, 1918 in Miltonvale, KS, the daughter of Jack and Elsie (Cyr) Reynolds. Maxine was raised in Miltonvale and graduated from Miltonvale High School. She married Elmo Geist in 1937. They made their home in Miltonvale. Elmo preceded her in death on March 24, 1982. She was a member of the Methodist Church and the V.F.W. Auxiliary, both of Miltonvale. She was preceded in death by husband, son, Deney Geist and daughter in law, Janet Geist. Survivors: Son: Terry and wife Vickie Geist, Augusta, KS 6 Grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 15, 2015 at Phelps Funeral Home Visitation will be held Friday, May 15 from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home Memorial contributions to Easter Seals Capper Foundation
