Maynard Rott

MAYNARD J ROTT died December 16, 2012 at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia, KS at the age of 86. He was born on February 15, 1926 in Republic County, KS the son of Joseph Rott and Antonie Plucar. Maynard was raised in the Agenda area and graduated from Agenda High School. He served in the US Navy during WWII. After the war, he returned to the Agenda area and began farming on the family farm. Maynard married Barbara Heitsman on June 13, 1953. He was a member of the Clifton American Legion, Clyde VFW and an 81 year member of the WFLA Lodge in Munden, KS. Survivors include: Wife: Barbara Rott, Clifton, KS Daughter: Kathy Byrd, Clifton, KS Sister: Dorothy Cox, Cuba, KS Grandchildren: 1 grandson Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the Turner Chapel in Clifton, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Gary Carlson. Burial will be at the Pleasant View Cemetery, Vining, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 5-7 PM Thursday at the funeral home Memorials can be made to Clifton Ambulance
