MELVINA M. CRIMMINS died November 7, 2012 at her residence in Clay Center, KS at the age of 82. MELVINA M. CRIMMINS was born on December 29, 1929 in Washington County Kansas, the daughter of Isidore and Helen (Marlowe) Klozenbucher. Melvina married Daniel Crimmins on October 21, 1950 and he preceded her on December 19, 2007. She was a housewife, cook, gardener and mother. They farmed in the Kimeo, KS area and moved to Clay Center in 1968. She was a member of the SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the B.P.O.E.. She is also preceded by a son, Mike, granddaughter Stacey and 2 sisters. Survivors include: Son: Jerome and wife Jody Crimmins, Clay Center, KS Son: James and wife Kim Crimmins, Clay Center, KS Son: Steven and wife Kathy Crimmins, Clay Center, KS Daughter: Susan Bloom, Clay Center, KS Daughter-In-Law: Babette Crimmins, Clay Center, KS Sister: Marjory and husband Kenny Osbourn, Manhattan, KS Brother-In-Law: Don Fencil, Greenleaf, KS Grandchildren: 16 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Clay Center, Kansas . Officiating the service will be The Rev. Larry Grennan. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 9 from 4-7 pm with Rosary at 7pm at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to Melvina Crimmins Memorial Fund c/o the funeral home.
