Mikel Bauer

Mikel Dale Bauer, 69, died on December 14, 2018. He was born on October 17, 1949 in Clay Center, KS, the son of Martin Edward Bauer and Mildred (Jackson) Bauer.

Mikel graduated in 1967 from Clay County Community High School. He served his country four years in the US Navy. Mikel owned his own business for over 30 years selling Snap-On and Mac Tools. He enjoyed Nascar, playing cards, and visits from grandchildren, family and friends.

He is survived by Son, Keith Bauer and wife Ginger of Burrton, KS. Their children Andrew, Matt, Dylan, Peyton Mueller, and Kady Bauer. Son, Kurt Bauer and Amy Dirks-Simmons of Hillsboro, KS. His children Heather Sullivan and Rodney Bauer. Daughter, Krysti Bauer of Wichita, KS. Her children Elizabeth Fowler, Samantha, Christopher, Abbigail, Alexandria, Madison Robins.

Brother, Charles (Chuck) Bauer and wife Sherry of Mc Allen, TX. Sister, Debora (Debbie) and husband Ron Tillett of Burleson, TX. Their children Christopher Tillet and Cassandra (Cassie) and her son Aidan Havas of Burleson, TX.

Mikel was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation be held on Wednesday, December 19 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. with family present from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home in Clay Center, Kansas.

Cremation will follow with burial at a later date.
