Mildred Slipsager

MILDRED SLIPSAGER died February 7, 2011 at Good Samaritan Society, Minneapolis, KS at the age of 87. She was born on October 11, 1923 in Goff, KS the daughter of Lloyd and Velma (Massey) McConnaughey . Mildred married Edward Slipsager on June 7, 1942. She owned and operated Slipsager Insurance Agency for 20 years, retiring in 1993. Edward preceded her in death on February 24, 1996. Mildred was a member of Faith United Church Presbyterian, Order of Eastern Star in Clay Center, Daughters of the Nile in Salina, American Legion Auxiliary in Clifton and served as past treasurer for the City of Clifton and past treasurer for the Clifton Chamber of Commerce. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Hazel Harlan.
