Muriel Jacobson

MURIEL JACOBSON died June 17, 2010 at Community Care Inc., Clifton, KS at the age of 80. She was born on December 1, 1929 in Clay County near Morganville Kansas, the daughter of William and Helen (Reed) Schwab. Muriel worked for the U.S. Geological Survey for many years retiring in Menlo Park, CA before moving to Clifton. She was a member of the Clifton Senior Center and the Fun After 50 Club of Redwood City, CA. She was preceded in death by a son, Scott, sisters Elaine Hahn and Rachael Rife and Brother Lafe Schwab. Survivors include: Son: Paul and wife Dawn Jacobson, Clifton, KS Son: Gregory and wife Sherri Jacobson, Trinidad, CO Daughter: Peggy and husband Bill Austin, Santa Rosa, CA Brother: Billy Schwab, Clifton, KS Grandchildren: Eleven Grand and Six Great Grandchildren Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Sherman Cemetery in Clay County Kansas. Visitation will be held on There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the Clifton Senior Center or to The Tammy Walker Cancer Center in care of the funeral home.
