Myrtle Baxter

Myrtle C Baxter, 87 died May 8, 2016 at Medicalodge in Clay Center, KS. She was born on August 8, 1928 in Clay County, Kansas, the daughter of Wesley Blomberg and Cecilia Nelson. Myrtle married J. Allen Baxter on April 9, 1950. She worked as a janitor at the Broughton School and cleaned housed in Clay Center for several years. Myrtle later worked as a CNA at Medicalodge. Allen preceded her in death on January 21, 2012. She was a member of the Wesleyan Church in Clay Center. She was also preceded in death by her parents Survivors: Son: Darrell and wife Evangeline Baxter, of Oskaloosa, IA Son: Gerald and wife Ruth Baxter, of Clay Center, KS Myrna Baxter, Daughter of Olathe, KS 6 Grandchildren and 1 greatgrandchild Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Wesleyan Church in Clay Center KS Burial will be in the Swedish Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Clay County Visitation will be held on Friday May 13, 2016from 3-8 PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home Memorials to the church or Meadowlark Hospice
