Nancee Martin

NANCEE JO MARTIN died August 25, 2008 at Her Residence, San Antonio, TX at the age of 56. She was born on September 2, 1951 in Clay Center Kansas, the daughter of Frederick Martin and Emma Leidig. Nancee graduated from Central Christian High School in Hutchinson. She graduated from Asbury College and earned an MS degree from Cumberland College. She taught school for 3 years in Tennessee and 25 years in Elkhart, KS. She moved to Clay Center, Ks. in 2006 and to San Antonio, Tx. in 2008. She was a member of the 1st Christian Church in Elkhart, Ks.. She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include: Brother: Dr Frederick and wife Marti Martin, Ferguson, KY Sister: Mary Ellen Martin, San Antonio, TX Sister: Barbara Walton, San Antonio, TX Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 29, 2008 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Gerald Martin. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29th from 9:30am until service time at the United Methodist Church. Memorials can be made to Clay Center Carnegie Library, Meadowlark Hospice or Elkhart 1st Christian Church Mission Week
