Nancy JoAnn Mitchell, 77 died June 29, 2019 in Hutchinson, KS. She was born on April 23, 1942 in Clay County, KS the daughter of Ervin and Julia Arlene (Nelson) Taddiken. Nancy Taddiken Mitchell was raised on the family farm west of Clay Center. She attended Washington District #15 elementary school, graduated from CCCHS in 1960 and Stormont-Vail School of Nursing in 1963. She married Terry Ray Mitchell on August 25, 1963. They lived and worked in Clay Center, KS until moving to Smith Center, KS in 1972. After retiring, they moved back to Clay Center in 2006. She was active with the Presbyterian Church and Evangelical Free Church in Smith Center and the First Baptist Church and Lighthouse for Christ in Clay Center. Her parents precede her in death.
