NAOMI JEAN "NONNIE" LEONARD, 81 died July 10, 2015 at Brookdale Senior Living in Junction City, KS. She was born on September 8, 1933 in Clay Center, KS, the daughter of Leonard and Ida (Bregen) Carlson. Nonnie was raised in southern Clay County, KS. She was a graduate of Clay County Community High School in 1951. Nonnie married James E. Braden in 1952 and lived in Wakefield, KS where they raised their four children. They later divorced and she married John H. Leonard in 1984 and he preceded her in 2007. They lived in Junction City, KS and she worked for Central National Bank retiring in 1985. Nonnie was a member of the 1st Presbyterian Church, Dorcus Circle, Gamma Phi sorority, Garden Club, Sertoma and the Little Theatre Guild all of Junction City and the Wakefield Library Club and Wakefield Museum. She was also preceded by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the Wakefield United Methodist Church in Wakefield, KS
Officiating the service will be Rev. Joohyang Kim and Pastor Todd Britt.
Inurnment will be in Highland Cemetery, Wakefield, KS
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Wakefield United Methodist Church
