Neil Kalivoda

NEIL CHARLES KALIVODA died June 14, 2010 at Republic County Hospital, Belleville, KS at the age of 87. He was born on May 31, 1923 in Republic County, KS the son of Charles and Vera (Teeter) Kalivoda. Neil was raised in Republic County and graduated from Agenda High School. He married Gayle Nelson on July 27, 1951, she survives of the home. They farmed and ranched in Republic County. He was a member of the Brantford Evangelical Covenant Church. Neil is preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters. Survivors include: Wife: Gayle Kalivoda, Agenda, KS Daughter: Jayne and husband Mark Lund, Green, KS Son: Scott and wife Joyce Kalivoda, Olathe, KS Son: Kent Kalivoda, Agenda, KS Sister: Betty Lang, San Lorenzo, CA 7 Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Brantford Evangelical Covenant Church in Clyde, Kansas. Burial will be at the Brantford Evangelical Covenant Cemetery, Clyde, Kansas. Visitation will be held on 5-7 PM Thursday at Turner Funeral Home in Clifton.
