Neola Rundle

NEOLA GRACE RUNDLE died March 11, 2009 at Medicalodge, Clay Center, KS at the age of 97. She was born on February 10, 1912 in Riley County, Kansas the daughter of William H. Wilkening and Maude Dee Crowl. She wasraised in Riley County and graduated from Riley County High School in 1931. Neola married Clifford Rundle on July 11, 1937. They made their home in Clay County and she worked for Cedar Court Motel. Clifford preceded her in death on August 21, 1993. She was a member of the Hayes United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women's Organization and American Legion Auxillary. She is also preceded by a son John, one brother and one sister. Survivors include: Daughter: Lona Mae Sharp, IA Grandchildren: 6 Grandchildren, Many Great Grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 16, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Rev. Gerald Martin. Burial will be at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16 from 1-2pm Memorials can be made to Kansas Lions Sight Foundation or the American Heart Association c/o the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home.
