Nina Woods

MRS. FRED M. (NINA) WOODS died July 28, 2009 at the Golden Livingcenter in Wakefield, KS at the age of 94. Nina was born on November 15, 1914 in Sumner, Missouri the daughter of William Smith and Celia Moore. She married Fred M. Woods on September 7, 1934 in Olathe and he preceded her in death on July 22, 2000. She was the secretary at Shawnee Mission North High School, retiring in 1964. She was also preceded in death by her son, Larry Woods in 1994 and three brothers. Survivors include: Daughter: Barbara and husband Art McGee, Wakefield, KS Daughter In-Law: Sharon and husband, Max Helm, Glen Falls, NY Grandchildren: 6 Grandchildren 17 Great Grandchildren 3 Great Great Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri. Officiating the service will be Pastor Todd Britt. Burial will be at the Greenlawn Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. There will be no visitation. Memorials can be made to the Madura Congregational Church in care of the funeral home.
