Norma Wendte

Norma Wendte, 88 died June 15, 2019 in Linn, KS. She was born on November 28, 1930 in Washington County, KS, the daughter of Louis and Edna (Hillers) Dankenbring. Norma was raised in the Palmer community and graduated from Linn High School in 1948. She worked part-time as an operator for the Linn Telephone Co. and at the Palmer Store. She married Norman Wendte on October 8, 1950. They made their home in Clay Center from 1973 until 1993 when they moved back to the Linn and Palmer area. She worked at the Clay Center Locker for many years. Norma was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dayton and Robert Dankenbring.

Funeral Services: Friday, June 21, 2019 at 11:00AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Clay Center, KS

Minister: Pastor Paul Tessaro

Visitation: Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 3-8 PM at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home

Inurnment: Cremation will follow service with inurnment at a later date.
