Ole Olson

OLE (GAROLD) OLSON died August 12, 2012 at Community Care Inc., Clifton, KS at the age of 80. OLE was born on April 15, 1932 in Junction City Kansas, the son of John Olson and Christina Asling. Ole was raised in Junction City, Kansas and graduated from Junction City High School. He was self employed as a home builder and cabinet maker in Arizona and graduated from Arizona State then Northern Arizona with a Masters Degree. He taught Industrial Arts in Derby Kansas. He retired from the Ft. Riley Civil Service in 1995. He married Donna Fae Cross on June 14, 1953 and she preceded him on August 25, 2008. He is also preceded by 4 brothers, 1 sister and 1 Great Grandchild. Survivors include: Daughter: Cristy and husband Gene Pruser, Clifton, KS Grandchildren: 3 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Welcome Cemetery in Alta Vista, Kanas. Officiating the service will be Pastor FrankLyn Schroeder. Burial will be at the Welcome Cemetery, Alta Vista, KS.
