Orin Ballard

Orin Ballard, 92 died December 10, 2021, in Clay Center, KS. He was born on January 31, 1929, in O'Donnell, TX, the son of Orin G. and Florence (Meadors) Ballard. Orin was raised in Baird, TX. He served in the US Army and was stationed in Newfoundland and Fort Riley. Orin married Rebecca Rogers on January 16, 1959. They made their home in Monahans, Texas where Orin worked as a tool pusher in the oil fields. After retiring, Orin and Rebecca moved to Clay Center, KS. Rebecca preceded him in death on March 14, 2019. Orin enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. He was also preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
