Otto Willhof

OTTO QUENTIN WILLHOF died October 16, 2013 at Salem Home, Hillsboro, KS at the age of 90. He was born on January 30, 1923 in Dickinson County KS, the son of Otto A. and Hettie Izora (Duck) Willhof. Otto was raised in the Oak Hill community and graduated from Green High School. He served in the US Army, 1777th Engineering Construction Battalion during WWII. Otto returned to the Green area and farmed. He married June Evans Erickson in July 1954, they later divorced. In 2011, Otto moved to Hillsboro. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Delberta Bert Erickson, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include: Daughter: Janice and husband Ed Meisinger, Hillsboro, KS Daughter: Claudene and husband Gail Anspaugh, Elk City, OK Grandchildren: 4 Granddaughters and 9 Great-grandchildren Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 10:30 AM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Chapel in Clay Center, Kansas. Officiating the service will be Pastor Clark Davis. Burial will be at the Athelstane Cemetery, Clay County, Kansas. Visitation will be held on Saturday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home Memorials can be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Tampa, KS c/o the funeral home
